I love all the spookiness that comes w/Halloween. We try to decorate with all of them. Goblins, bats, spiders, skeletons and ghosts. My kids love this holiday as do I!!

Pumpkins and homemade scarecrows.

Ooh….how does one pick just one theme? We have them all around here. But I think my favorite is jack-o-lanterns. We grow (or at least try to grow) the pumpkins, carve them and use their guts for some yummy treats! The kids love getting to be involved in the whole process!

There is nothing more fun that pumpkins for Halloween! Our kids are still young so we do the “friendly” Halloween decorations. Once they’re older I’m sure they’ll be into the more spooky stuff like ghosts and skeletons! Halloween is so much fun!

I love all things leaves, pumpkins, scarecrows and everything that spells Autumn ! Our favorite theme!
October 13th, 2011 at 11:47 am
Bats! We hang them from the ceiling and cut out construction paper bats to put on the windows.
I also love masks–we put them on our stuffed animals and set them around the living and dining room so they can join in the spooky fun.

My daughters birthday is right before Halloween so we have a birthday/Halloween party for her so we do girly skulls for goody bags and birthday specific stuff but outside is mostly witches and tombstones, living room is spiders, bathroom is ghosts and we keep most of the birthday stuff in the kitchen. So I guess you could say we spread the love and dont have one specific favorite!
